FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We're all about easy eating and giving you a premium service. Through our apps and site we allow you to search and order from different premium fastfood restaurants in your area, so that you can just relax and enjoy great food. Once you've found a restaurant and placed an order online, we'll send you an SMS text message to your phone to confirm that we have received your order. Once your food has been collected from the restaurant, we send you another message to give you an estimated delivery time. Suddenly, Bam! You've got a great meal without the hassle. *Note: We LOVE food but we're not that keen on cooking. The restaurant, not FastEat, is responsible for food quality.

Absolutely not (unless its a salad!). Ours is a premium home delivery service. We collect meals individually, for a single customer at a time, and deliver directly to you, straight away. This means your meal is always the ONLY meal in the vehicle at time of delivery, as well as being carried in insulated bags. On most occasions as our drivers only cover a couple of miles radius we can get the food to you within 10-20 mins from pickup, but occasionally with traffic and restaurant queues etc it may add a few minutes to the journey. To be on the safe side we always ask that you allow us up to 60 minutes for normal delivery times. At peak times, your delivery may take a little longer.

We're quickly covering most of the residential areas in the North East of England but it's a pretty big place, so we're always working to service more areas and find new delivery drivers who can help us to do this. We give you 2 choices of payment method through our 2 super secure partners STRIPE and PayPal. Between them they accept all the major online payment methods. Sorry we dont accept Cash or Cheque.

Yes, you are totally secure. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available. We're like a vault. We have all these fancy, high-tech security measures to keep your data safe, because it's our highest priority You can read all about these measures in our privacy policy. We don't store any of your credit card details where anyone but you can see it, and we don't give them out to the restaurants or delivery drivers either. Restaurants and drivers only see your name, address and phone number, just to make the delivery easier.

When you have paid for your order, you'll get an immediate Text message saying that your order has been successfully placed. This is your confirmation. Once our driver has collected the food, you will get another text notification and an approximate delivery time..

We understand sometimes things don't go to plan, and you might need to cancel or change an order. We can only do this if the driver hasnt collected and paid for the food. Once the food has been paid for then no cancellations are possible. Dont worry, We will still deliver your food as normal.

If you have paid by card with Stripe and had an order cancelled and refunded by Fasteat for whatever reason, this could take 5-10 business days to return to your account. This is entirely dependant on your bank. If you have paid by paypal, again this may take up to 14 days or more to be returned to your account, unfortunately this is not something FastEat has any control over so please dont shout at us :). Most of the time our restaurants are pretty swift at making and getting the food out of the door. We ask that you give us at least 60 minutes before you call or chat to find out where your food is.

Oh no! We're sorry to hear that. Our restaurant friends work really hard to provide you great food, and so they're keen for your feedback. Call us straight away (check out our contact us page) and we might be able to fix the problem for you or help you out for next time. Give us a call with the receipt number of your order. As we are only the delivery company, we dont offer any form of compensation.
